EDGECUMBE DISTRICT ASSOCIATION At the meeting of the Executive of the Edgecumbe District ParentTeacher Association last Monday, details for the forthcoming social to be held on July 15 were finalised. A light musical programme was arranged with supper to be provided. Principal business of the evening, it was intimated, would be the ratification of the. Constitution with provision for. questions and answers. The resignation of the secretary, Mr W. J. R. .Thompson, was received with regret, Mr T. Ward being appointed in his stead pending the election of a new secretary.
