HOUSE PAINTED IN THREE MINUTES
Thirty-five men painted a new, five-roomed cottage in 3 minutes 13.2 seconds on May 25 and claimed a world’s speed record in America. An estimated 2,000 spectators cheered the men as they coated the house white. The dwelling will be occupied soon by Joseph Valentine, a war veteran, and his family. A few days earlier 38 men painted a house in 5 minutes 34.2 seconds. .
