Manpower Shortage?
Whether or not there was a manpower shortage for that particular industry was a point on which a member of the Western Bay of Plenty branch of the Returned Services Association disagreed at the meeting of the Master Builders’ Association and the R.S.A. on Friday evening. Mr A. Cunningham stated that it was given out by someone who should know that there was no shortage of manpower. Mr E. E. Parker stated that that was not so. Mr Cunningham replied that it had been given to him by a miller.
