PUBLIC NOTICE RANGITAIKI LAND DRAINAGENOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE AND LEVY GENERAL RATES Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, 20th June 1946. Notice is hereby given that it is intended, pursuant to the Rangitaiki Land Drainage Act, 1910, and " its amendments, to make and levy, on the unimproved value of alLJand within the district constituted under the said Act, the general rates to meet maintenance costs for the period Ist April, 1946, to 31st March, 1947, as described in the Schedule hereto. The amount of such rates wilL be payable in one sum on the 30th day of August 1946, together with the special rates already made and levied. The valuation' roll of the district is open for inspection at the office of the Collector of Rates, Chief Drainage Engineer’s Office, Room 45, Government Buildings, Customs St. West, Auckland, and a copy of same may be inspected at the office of the Land Drainage Engineer, at Thornton, near Whakatane, at all times at which those offices are open for the transaction of public business. SCHEDULE Class A: On the unimproved value of all lands classified as Class A by the arbitrators appointed under Section 6 of the Rangitaiki Land Drainage Act, 1910, foiirv pence and twenty-four one hundredths of a penny (4.24 d) in the pound. Class B: On the unimproved value of all lands so classified as Class B, twopence and eighty-three one-hundred-ths of a penny (2.83 d) in the pound. Class C: On the unimproved value of all lands so classified as Class C, onepenny and forty-one one-hundredths of a penny (1.41 d) in the pound. Class D: On the unimproved value of all lands so classified as Class D, forty-seven, one-hundredths of a penny; (0.47 d) in the pound. (Sgd.) C. F. SKINNER, Minister of Lands.
