ADULT EDUCATION
STUDY GROUPS FORMED Following the recent Adult Education Week when a large number of people attended to hear the visiting lecturers on various subjects, a meeting was held at the District High School on Thursday evening by those interested in the formation of various study groups. With the wealth of material in the way of recorded lectures and films together with printed lectures available from Auckland Adult Education Centre, it was decided to carry on the good work already started and to commence with, two study groups were formed, one for music, a Listeners Group and the other for Dramatic Readings. It was decided to make provision for a further series of lectures for an Adult Education Week early next year on subjects of general interest. Those interested in joining any of the study groups already formed or interested in the formation of further study groups on other subjejcts may obtain particulars from the Secretary, Adult Education Association, Miss L. M. Lawes, Whakatane District High School.
