Footballer Injured One of the Taneatua Junior play* ers, Roger Hill, suffered what could easily have been a serious injury on Saturday afternoon whilst playing at the Domain against Poroporo. He was on the ground, after having been tackled, and the ball was near him. Another player aimed a kick at the ball, and inadvertantly struck the back of Hill’s head with his boot. Hill was removed to the Whakatane Public Hospital in the ambulance for observation, and his condition w&S later reported to be not sgidous. 1
