HOSPITAL RATING
ACTION BY FEDERATED FARMERS —— r MEMBER’S QUESTION “Is the Federation taking any step in regard to the excessive hospital rating?” asked Mr C. Griffiths (Omokoroa) at the Bay of Plenty conference of Federated Farmers of New Zealand (Inc.) in Tauranga. The speaker was of the opinion, that it was time something was done. The president (Mr A. L. Friis) said that there was a resolution before the recent meeting of the Dominion Council and the question was in hand. Another member asked if • the council intended to take action or was sitting down. The president: Ok no! “What is wrong with the branches backing up their County Councils? added Mr F. T. Mayo (Rangitaiki) who stressed the need for supporting councils in action of this sort.
