Ohope Spotlight
Led by the most able dance master, Freddie Burt, the “fox-trotters” were led over a perfect course on Saturday evening at the Cabaret. The pack really had their nose to the ground and although no kills were made, a most enjoyable meeting was held. At tally-ho, the following members were present: Mr and Mrs Whitaker, Mr and Mrs Robinson, Mr and Mrs Hay, Mrs Ingle, Mr and Mrs Corbett and Mr and Mrs Lynds. Misses Helen Grainger (Auckland), Jean Moore (Auckland), Yvonne and Jeannine Lodge, Dorothy Stewart, Leita and Hazel Thomason, Maurine Brown, Pleasance Bridger, Thora and Lois Moore, Jean Grover, Audrey Fairbrother, Coleen Mexted, Moira Mexted, Jackie and Peggy Hooper, Ngaire Mitchell, Yvonne Gage, Betty Roland, Lois Prince, Jean Howat, Dinks Roulston, Phyllis and Nellie Rivett and Eunice Polison.
