Whakatane Wharfages Revenue from the local wharfages were tabled at the June meeting of the Whakatane Harbour Board covering the two-monthly periods of April and May. These showed a drop on last year’s figures but comparative figures over the past four years indicated that the fluctuation was only slight. Details were: 1943 £426 13s 9d; 1944—£489 2s; 1945 £513 6s sd; 1946—£476 9s sd.
