A Strange Perch

For the past few days, we have repeatedly noticed a grey cat squatting contentedly upon the concrete window sill fronting the offices of a noted local firm of attorneys at law. Whether the feline is just another ‘man who came to dinner’ (and thought he’s stay awhile) a new member of the staff, a concerted effort on the part of the aforesaid firm to combat the ‘growing rat menace’, or merely an advertising stunt (awaiting the unfortunate prey) we don’t know. Whatever it is, it certainly has a novel appearance, and we haven’t yet discovered how-the animal manages to sleep on the sloping sill (say that aloud ten times quickly) without falling off.
