C.0.R.5.0. CONCERT
GRAND THEATRE PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT WAIVE COST In response to the representations of the local C.0.R.5.0. branch committee, the management of the Grand Theatre has notified its desire to be associated with the public in its campaign for so worthy an object and will make the theatre available free of cost in every respect. It is stipulated that all other expenses in the same connection should be waived and that the gross proceeds be made over to the overseas relief.
In the above regard we learn that the whole concert which is on a more ambitious scale than any other local production will be entirely free of cost, and the date has been fixed for June 25 (Thursday). The theatre management in wishing the venture success, has expressed its willingness to assist wherever there is no individual profit and the cause is a. deserving and worthy one, and further appreciates the fact that having no town hall the town is under something of a handicap in this respect.
