TE TEKO GOLF

LADIES CLUB MEETS The annual meeting of the Te Teko Ladies’ Golf Club was held in the Te Teko Hall on May 2, Mrs L. B. Smith presiding over a fair attendance of members. In presenting her report Mrs Smith thanked all members for their co-operation throughout the year, and lated the many beginners on the progress they had made. The following officers for the coming year were elected:—President: Mrs Goodwin; secretary: Mrs Balfour (re-elected)); committee: Miss Linsell and Mesdames Craddock, Caldwell and Moulden. j For this season ladies competition day will be Thursday—or Sunday for those members unable to play during the week—play 'to commence from 10 a.m. onwards. The draw ;for both days will be published in Wednesday’s Beacon each week. Will all players please advise the secretary as soon as possible which day they wish to be drawn for play. During the next three weeks an Eclectic competition will be held. This will be decided by the best two rounds out of the three.

Players to choose their own partners during these three weeks.
