WHAKATANE LADIES’ CLUB On Wednesday and Saturday of this week a foursome combining Senior and new players will be played. The draw will be:— Miss Black and Miss Venables; Mrs Dawson and Miss Armstrong; Mrs Dewar and Mrs Breckon; Mrs Otley and Miss Hyland; Mrs Symmans and Miss Reynolds; Mrs Fogarty and Miss Robins; Mrs Sloane and Mrs Ker; Mrs Winstone and Mrs Hay; Mrs Spence and Mrs Connell; Mrs Wilson and Miss Otley; Mrs Fraser and Mrs Semmens; Mrs Grey and Mrs Donaldson; Mrs Jarrett and Miss Righton; Mrs Rangi and Mrs McGowan; Miss Carter and Miss Wilson; Mrs , Burke and Mrs Cockerell; Mrs Fraser and Miss Campbell; Mrs Otley and Miss Suckling; Mrs Winstone and Miss Gartshore; Mrs Combes and Miss McLeod; Miss Le Lievre another. The foursomes will be arranged at the clubhous.e
The May Medal played in conjunction with the Aotea-Roa Cup and Coronation Medal resutled as follows: Miss Carter 97—23, 74; Miss The best score in connection with The bets score in connection with the Coronation Medal was Mrs Symmans 89—12, 77.
At the committee meeting held in the clubhouse on 4th instant it was decided that if play were postponed on, Wednesday because of rain that the following Saturday morning be match day, and that if play be ever postponed on a Saturday players where possible combine two competitions the following week.
