AVIATION

TONIGHT S SPECIAL MEETING

DO WE WANT AN AERO CLUB? Readers are reminded of the important meeting in the Borough Council Chambers this evening at 8 p.m. for the purpose of rallying all air-minded persons interested in the promotion of an Aero Club or the establishing of a landing field in this district. The meeting has been convened by a number of private enthusiasts who realise the tremendous drawback to the town, should it be excluded from the aero map now being drawn up for the Dominion. Speakers from the Tauranga Aero Club will address the meeting which aims at achieving something positive towards the establishment of local aviation in the near future.
