TANEATUA BRANCH MEETS The monthly meeting of the Taneatua Branch of the Labour Party was held in the Library Room on Monday, April 29. The following members were present: Mesdames Santon, Gardner, Messrs. F. Gardner, J. Shaw, W. Moir, L. Newdick, N. Semmens, R. Ducker, C. Moore, the Chairman (G. Santon) and Secretary (B'. Martin). It was decided to write to the Minister of Housing regarding the shortage of houses in Taneatua and request that State houses be built as their are several returned men from overseas without accommodation.
