HELLYAR CUP MATCH The second match against Taneatua for the Hellyar Cup was played on the Whakatane lawns'last Thursday afternoon, when Whakatane were successful, and now retain the cup for this season. Details of the games were as follows, Taneatua players being mentioned first:— Mesdames Hayward and Hill 15 lost to Mesdames Hellyar and Loane 26.

Mesdames Bennett and Sisam 12 Mesdames Burgess and Shaw 26. Mesdames Butler and Grace 22, Mesdames Creek and Woolliams 26.

The visitors were entertained to afternoon tea by the home club.
