FIRST MEETING

PARENT-TEACHER ASSOCIATION

The first meeting of the newlyformed Whakatane Parent-Teacher Association takes place at the school on Monday evening. The meeting will take the form of a semi-social gathering, and will be more in the nature of an informal discussion. Mr H. G. Warren, president of the Whakatane Chamber of Commerce, will be the speaker for the evening, and he will address members on the subject of Education in Relation to Business.

Following this, several musical items will be presented and a light supper will be served. It is trusted that all those who attended the meeting to form the Association together with as many other interested householders as possible will be present. Ladies are requested to bring a plate.
