AIDING PRINCESS NANCY j
A very happy evening was spent at a dance in the Taneatua Hall recently by dancers from Taneatua and surrounding districts, the proceeds going to swell the funds for Princess Nancy. The floor was excellent, supper, super-excellent, and proceedings were kept moving to music from the Premier Band by M.C. George Symmans.
The second heat of the Monte Carlo which is being run in conjunction with the series of dances in support of Princess Nancy was danced off, the winners of the £1 prize befrig Miss Wilson and partner. The six finalists each evening will compete on the last night for the big cash prize. The waltzing competition was won by Mr T. Doolan and Mrs Todman.
