REQUEST TO FARMERS
FODDER REQUIREMENTS Farmers who will require to purchase some extra fodder to enable them to bi-ing their capital livestock through the coming winter are requested by the Whakatane Hay Committee to make application for it to their merchants immediately. There is not enough fodder to go around and unless all applications are sent in at once, later ones may be made when all available supplies have been allocated. Applications should be accompanied, by details of the kind and number of stock to be wintered and the fodder available. This should include area under crop. Co-operation by farmers will greatly assist merchants to procure supplies and the Hay Committee to make a fair and equitable distribution of what can be obtained.
