CRICKET
MATCH WITH ROTORUA On 23rd and 24th of March the Whakatane Cricket Association will play the Rotorua Cricket Association at Rotorua. The Whakatane team will be selected finally from the following: McKenzie, Wells, Le Pine, Spring, Gillam, Wilson, Campbell, Rivett, Keesing, Porter, W. McCready, Menzies, Cleland, Ducker, and Axtens.
Roach; Crawford and Fisher are not available.
Any of these players who unable to travel are expected to notify the selector, Mr L. R. Spring, immediately.
WHAKATANE UNITED
The following team will play the Te Puke Club at Te Puke on the 16th inst (Saturday): Rigden (2), Goodall, Le Pine, Crawford, Spring, McKenzie, Fisher, Guptill, Reid, Moore, the scorer M. Fockes. The team will travel by the Taneatua Express and will assemble at Stewart Street corner at 7.30 a.m. in order to connect with the train bus.
