BAND CONCERT

TOMORROW’S PROGRAMME COMMERCIAL HOTEL GROUNDS The sum of £75 is required to send representatives from the Whakatane Boys’ Band to compete in the Dominion Contests to be held at Christchurch. This money is being subscribed by citizens arid as a result, of the bands own efforts. Tomorrow at ,;2.30 the Boys will be giving a full concert programme on the grounds of the Commercial Hotel and will be inviting the public to subscribe towards the Contest Fund. All who appreciate the Band and wish, it well are asked to give liberally when the collection is taken up.
