Mushrooms
Hillcrest residents have been up betimes, the past few mornings, collecting the delectable fungus which appears to be growing pro fusely in the paddocks on either side of the Ohope Road. Doubtless after the next sprinkling of rain, they will be joined by many residents from the town area.
Wireless Sets More Plentiful
New wireless sets appear to be more plentiful now than they have been for some considerable time. Attractive models are making their appearance in the shop windows, and if conditions improve at the same rate as they have over the past six months, it should not be long bebefore a very wide selection is available.
Air Training Corps
The attention of all members of Squadron 35 of the Air Training Corps is drawn to the advertisement appearing on the front page of this issue announcing a general meeting to be held in the A.T.C.
