JOYLAND FEATURES
R.S.A. QUEEN CARNIVAL A programme consisting of a series of events which will be featured in connection with Joyland, the Amusement Park situated opposite the Rock, and which is being run to assist the R.S.A. Memoral Welfare Appeal has been mapped out, and consists of many attractive features.
On Friday, March 1, commencing at 7 p.m. sharp, there will be a fancy dress Gala Night for the kiddies. Substantial prizes for the best dressed girl, best dressed boy, and most original costume will be awarded and for adults and children alike, there will be all the fun of the fair.
On Saturday night, March 2, a Grand Beer Drinking Competition will be held. The winner here, will receive a dozen large, with a half dozen ditto for second.
All in all it looks as if Joyland is going to provide plenty of fun for everyone. The Amusement Park itself, is open every night from 7 p.m. till midnight.
