R.S.A. APPEAL

PROGRESS AT TANEATUA FORMATION OF COMMITTEE Meetings are the order of the day <(or evening) at Taneatua at present, the Princess-bug having bitten the town rather badly. The latest committee to report is the Entertainment Committee and they have things- planned for the whole campaign. They will run a series of .dances and card parties on alternate •weeks commencing with a card party on February 14. Card parties •will also be run on February 28,

March 14, March 28 and April 11, •while there, will be dances on February 21, March, 7 and 21’ and April 4. A Monte Carlo competition will be run throughout the series of .dances with a,cash prize each evening to the winners of each heat and substantial cash prize to the winners at the end of the competition. The Premier Dance Band has been .engaged for the whole scries. Everything points to Taneatua being a very bright little spot lor at least the duration of this Princess carnival. Our Princess Nancy has chosen the Taneatua colours, black and white, as her own for the campaign.
