NOVEMBER ALLOCATIONS TO EX-SERVICEMEN

Almost 200 State rental houses ancl ilats were made available to exservicemen during November, under the 50 per cent, allocation scheme says the monthly statistical review oi the [Rehabilitation Department. This brought the total number so allocated to 4371.

During November houses were allocated in the various districts ,as follows the figures in parentheses being the totals to date in each case:—

Auckland 01 (1294): Hamilton 10 (329); Napier 4 (206); New Plymouth 4 (118); Wellington 88 (1551); Christchurch 15 (452); Dunedin 5 (248); Invercargill 3 (92); totals 197 (4371).
