LIST OF ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

In a statement to the Whakatane Hospital Board last Friday the Matron Miss D. M. Runciman said:— •J 5 I wish to thank all those anonymous givers for their generosity in giving flowers and other gifts to the hospital during the Xmas Season. Through their gills w 7 e were able to make Xmas brighter and more cheerful for those patients who were unable to return to their homes. I should like to take this opportunity to thank those members of the Red Cross who have helped us when we have been short staffed, often giving up their weekends to come to the hospital. We appreciatc their unselfish generosity and again thank them. The list of gifts were acknowledged as under:— Mrs Hawken: Lamb and Mutton, Fruit Lemons; Airs A.
