SANDFORD TRAINING CAMP

RESULTS OF SCOUTING COURSE LOCAL BOYS SUCCESSFUL Notification has been received by the County Commissioner that at the recently conducted Sandford Training Camp for Scouts at Lake Rotoma, the following boys were successful in obtaining their certificates:—

G. Urquhart N. Fergusson (Ist Tauranga); A. Pemberton P. Grant (Gate Pa); L. Royal, R. F. Nieh,olis, C. Summers (Mount Sea Scouts); S. Gilpin, A. Peterson, A. Davis ; M. Bensley (Southern Cross Sea Scouts); C. Gebert (Waiotahi); N. Mita, M.' Ripaki, S. McCaulay (Waiohou); G. Hooper (Opotiki); C. F. Bonthron, O. J. Roberts (Bethlehem); K. ’l. Carter, J. E. Hanna (Awakeri); F. G. Roberts (Oropi); B. G. Hume, E. G. Doc'M ray G. B. Goodall (Whakatane). Partial: Iv. N. Jensen, W. L. Rcnolds (Awakeri); M. Nina (Waio,hou). Certificates will be to hand after the holidays when they will be handed out to the above by their respective commissioners. The camp which will be remembered for its great success numbered over fifty from all parts ol the Bay of Plenty, and was limited to Patrol Leaders.
