SERVICES OF ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

OVER, the holiday period, the local members of the St. John Ambulance Association which is entirely voluntary have made fourteen trips in their well-equipped, ambulance entailing a total mileage of 545 miles. As always thes Brigade was standing by in readiness, to serve a,nd its* members were willing to sacrifice their holiday time in order to make trips to Matata, Manawahe, Awakaponga. and as far afield as Hamilton.: Once again we record this interlude of service in the interests of the community, and in doing so pay a further warm tribute to the Brigade and its high traditions of service and healing.
