BREAD BAKING

EX-SERVICEMEN ESTABLISHED

To date there have been 4.1 exservicemen established in bread-bak-ing businesses throughout New Zealand says a statement from the Rehabilitation Department. In addition six have retui'ned to businesses they had operated before entering tfac forces.

Exrservicemen have been in a very favourable position regarding the acquisition of bread-baking businesses the disposal of which is controlled by the Wheat and Flour Controller. In June of last year it was decided that no further transfers of existing bread-baking businesses would be authorised unless the Director of Rehabilitation and the AVheat and Flour Controller were satisfied that they were not required by ex-servicemen.
