Mr 1. B. Gow quoted correspondence relating on one hand the County . Council's objection to the ban on further subdivision and Departmental replies. Day ol" which Mr Gow was chairman, it would appear the Government's altitude remained adamant and. though no concrete scheme has yet * eventuated, the proposal of a new township site has not been over-rul-ed. It was. decided to. invite tfee- Mmfster of Lands to visit Edgeewanfie in the. near future with a view to' discussing the position at a pajblie ' meeting.. 'The following committee was dieclared elected: Messrs O. WMarx' W. A. I. B. Gow Wm. Cowie, W. Hunter and W. r J. R. Thompson.
