Greater Storage Space

The need for increased storage accommodation at the wharves was emphasised by Mr G. A. Brabant at the Harbour Board meeting last week when lie stated that the sheets were becoming most restricted, and it was time, to consider the erection of new structures. The chairman, wh'ile not opposing the suggestion, said that the same, sheds had served in the past when a much greater volume of cargo was handled at the wharves. He agreed with a progressive policy however, and moved that the engineer be given authority to report on the matter. This course was agreed to.
