ARE WE AIR-MINDED ?
DETERMINED and energetic as were the efforts of the Borough Council to finalise the situation of a district aerodrome early in the present year, the community now finds the year drawing to a close, with the_ prospect just as distant as ever. True a committee with County and Borough dele-, gates composing its strength has been set up, but as far as we know the matter is again quiescent., Now that? ths war is over, it is surely more urgent than ever before that Whakatane agitates through every possible avenue the action for the creation of its own aerodrome.
