EX-SERVICEMEN AWAITING SETTLEMENT The Rehabilitation Board has carried out a survey of the occupations at present being followed by those ex-servicemen who have been passed by their local committees as ready for immediate settlement but are awaiting suitable farm properties. It Avas found as a that the greater proportion of those men were working on farms. In only 13 cases had men in this category refused country work; and in these instances they had not been offered specific positions. Others were employed in businesses and trades allied to farming. "It is very gratifying to receive a report like this/' said the Minister of Rehabilitation, the Hon. C. F. Skinner.
