Dust Nuisance at Edgecumbe

At the meeting of the Whakatane County Council last Tuesday Cr McCracken mentioned the growing dust nuisance at Edgecumbe where residents were almost choked with, dust during the summer months. "The chairman Mr J. L. Burnett, agreed that it was encumbent 011 the council to do something but until the route of the new State Highway had been determined he failed to see that anything of a major scheme could be carried out.
