Two representative games will take place at Whakatane .pn 2oth November and the following loeal teams have been selected:— v Opotiki: McKenzie_ E. Wells, Axtens, Campbell, Fislier Springy Cleland, Porter, Rivett and Duc'ker. v Pongokawa: Roach (Capt) Rigden, Gillam, Menzles, Rae, INlc_ GoUghan, R. RojMiton J. Ruff, McCouncil Smith and H. Grant. 9 Reserves: Parke* and E. Malaquin. CITIZENSE SCOUTS v BOY'S BRIGADE A DRAWN. GAME

The Domain on Saturday afternoon was a scene oi' much activity as Scouts and members of the Boy's Brigade met as brothers, lor the time to play cricket.

The Scouts won the toss and decided to bat. Runs began to mouiit slowly and several balls were sent to the boundary. After some 43 minutes the Scouts were out for a total of 4,4 runs. B. Hume batted well for Scouts, jnitting up 1.8 runs not out. J. Chadwic'k and I. Law bowled well, each taking two wickets for Boy's Brigade.

After all boys had partaken of an orange., the match resumed with Bo\ r 's Brigade batting. Runs again came ])ut Boy's Brigade last wicket fell only after a period of 50 minutes, their total score being 62 runs. B. Johnson made 26 runs, his score being the top score for the daj r , while L. Goodall bowled extremely Avell for Scouts taking four wickets. A delightful and tasty afternoon tea was then served bv the Scouts v • ■} who alter, feeling fortified resumed batting for their second innings, it was decided that each elevens second innings be cut down to 30 minutes. B. Hume once more came into the limelight putting up 17 runs, with \Y. Quigg a close second in top score Avith 1(3 runs not out and at 1 the call of time, at runs had been made. Boy's Brigade then batted and in 25 minutes were all out for 33 runs. The match resulted in a draw_ the total scores being 95 runs for each eleven.
