Sub-Matron's Transfer The resignation of Sister Sub-Matron of the Whakatane Hospital and tutor was received with regret by the Board at its last meeting. Sister Bremer has received an appointment in Fiji with the Boarding Out of Nurses As a result of the shortage of accommodation for nurses the Whakatane Hospital Board resolved at its last meeting to in an endeavour to ascertain whether arrangements could be made for the boarding out of some of the staff. Chairman's' Resignation At the last meeting of the Whakatane Hospital Board the Chairman (Mr L. Buddie) gave intimation to the effect that owing to the work involved, he found it impossible to continue in office as and would therefore submit, his. resignation before the December meeting of the Board. Members individually expressed their regret at this decision. On Priority List \ Discussing the possibility of Whakatane's new Post Office being erected in the near Mr W.
