''Home In Indiana a picture equal in all respects to the well remembered film 'Lassie Gome Home/ but possessing perhaps a wider appeal to theatre patrons. Briefly the story concerns an 18 year* old lad Sparke Thornton (Lon McGallister —remember him in 'Stage Door Canteen'?) who develops into a first class sulky driver and uses his skill in an en-

deavour to revive Roundhouse Farm < the stables belonging to his uncle J. F. "Thunder" Bolt (Walter Bren. nan) in his day ? the most popular, hardest-driving veteran of the grand circuit sulky races and which * '? '? through a series of unfortunate cir_ cumstances, has become run down and neglected.

| The plot revolves essentially round i horses and one. young filly in particular named "Maudeen Four" which is the hope of Roundhouse Farm. The majority of scenes do not concern actual but give a glimpse into the lives, and hopes and desires of the, people whose destiny is. inevitably tied up with the King of Sports.

As mentioned before, it is a picture which will find wide appeal not only with turf fans, but also with all who have a love for animals.

A three times Academy Award winner, Waiter Brennan, who could not help J)ut be well remembered by lilm patrons for his many past performances plays, the lead featured role, whilst Lon MeGallister and Jeanne Grain carry off the honours with their fine performances in the romantic lead.

"Home In Indiana" is a picture which can be confidently recommended to patrons.
