Electricity Costs
At the instance of Northern Wairoa branch the executive of the New Zealand Farmers' Union (Auckland Province) lias decided to investigate through some independent technical authority the effect on cost to consumers of electricity by the reduced voltage supplied. A note to the remit states that "It takes a greater ampierage to give the same results at a reduced voltage and may be considerably increasing electricity costs to "farmers."
