SNOOKER TOURNAMENT

THIRD AND FOURTH ROUNDS The third and fourth rounds of the Snooker Tournament being held in jMr J. Hanwright's billiard saloon were played off this w6ek. Eight further players were eliminated leaving three to contest the finals. Following are results of the third and fourth rounds. Handicaps are shown in brackets:— Third Round: S. Davis beat G. Rouson (9); T. Reid (8) beat M. Merito; W. McKenzic beat N. Raureti (7); T. Morgan beat S. Merito (21); B. Hudson beat N. Rigden (7); J. Henry a bye. Fourth Round: T. Morgan beat B. Hudson (21); T. Reid beat J. Henry (10); S. Davis beat W. Mc_ Kenzie (16). The finals will take place on Monday evening at 7 p.m. Best two out of three games declares the winner in each case. These will be played in the following order: S. Davis v T. Reid (G): S. Davis (12) v T. Morgan; T. Reid (18) v T. Morgan.
