TE TEKO MEETING The Te Te'ko branch of the Women's Division of the Farmers' Un-» \ ion held its eleventh' Birthday Partly in the Te Teko Hall Recently when . there was a large attendance members and a number of After the Mrs had welcomed the Mrs S- Cannel „ opened the afternoon's programme . ; with a delightful whistling item. A short sketch by Mrs Watson: and Mrs Harty and a play reading l by Mrs Eivers, Mrs Carr and Miss Linsell followed. The numerous competitions were, very popular and " were w r ell patronised. The cutting of the. cake by a visit- ' ing Institute member and the serving of a delightful afternoon tea - . brought the afternoon to a close. v
