OCTOBER COURT SITTING
LOCAL PROSECUTIONS
In the Magistrate's Court sitting" in Whakatanc last Tuesday the following traffic cases were dealt with by Mr E. L. S.M.:— Roy Stewart for having no driver's license when driving a truck in Domain Road; on August 11 was lined 5s and costs 12s.
Trevor M'. Hansen the owner of an unlicensed trailer, which was used by members of his staff was fined 10s and costs 10s.
Two charges against Douglas A. R. Taylor that on August 2 he used an. unlicensed and further that it had. no effective footbreak resulted in his being fined 20s and 15s costs and 20s and 10« costs respectively. Gilbert Richard Yeoman for ating a truck with no heavy traffic license at Te TGko on June 4 was lined £2 and costs 15s. For exceeding the speed, limit of 25 m.p.h. for heavy traffic Wesley Blaine Reid was lined £2 and 20s costs.
