The wide interest in tlie Monte Carlo competition now being run over a scries of dances by the Awaken Welcome Home Committee is indicated by the "rowing attendance. The position to date of tlie various I entrants, is as- follows: Mr T. Bell and Miss Tinman 1; Mr Marsh and Miss Bryant 2; Mr R. Rae and Mrs McKenzie 3; Mr Hansen and Miss Sullivan 4.
