COMING OF AGE
HAPPY OTAKIRI EVENING
There was a very large gathering of friends in the Edgecumbe Hall last Thursday nighty to celebrate the coming of age of son of Mr and Mrs A. Teasdale j Otakiri Road. For non-dancers* a Euchre Tournament was provided. Mr Oscar Lord capably filled the role o£ M.G. and bright dance, music was provided; by Messrs R. Thompson L. and F. jßroadmore and J. Eagleson, Songs rendered by Mesdames Shaw and Spence received deserving applause. Mr Massey in congratulating Arthur on his attaining his majority made complimentary reference to his qualities and popularity and asked him to accept the goodwill and wishes of all for the future. Arthur was the recipient of a large number of useful gifts.
