BOROUGH COUNCIL'S REACTION TIME WANTED TO CONSIDER An invitation from the County Council to attend a conference with the Hosptal Board to consider the major queston of amalgamating forces with the Waikato Hospital district was received by the Borough Council at its meeting last Monday. Details of he figures supplied by the secretary of the Waikato Board were also supplied.

After a lengthy discussion in which the, Mayor outlined the events o,n his trip to Rotorua when the interview with the Waikato officers took place it was decided to reply to the County Council stating that it was. not convenient to attend the suggested meeting on the day named (September 2.")) and ..further that ; more time was. required to consider the whole position.
