REHABILITATION
DISABLED SERVICEMEN
As at July 31 there were I<SB disabled servicemen of this war employed at the various centres of the Disabled Servicemen's Re-establish-ment says the monthly review of the, Rehabilitation Board. These centres are situated in Auckland 5 Christchurch Dunedrn? Invercargill and Napier. Besides men of this war. there were, also at that date 88 disabled men from the last war and 35 disabled civilians einployed > together with 35 ex-servicemen instructors, making a grand total of 3 Hi. Aided by Covernment the league nets ua the board's agent in the training and care of disabled servicemen. There were also at the. same date 21 totally blinded ex-servicemen and 12 who were partially blinded recorded with the Rehabilitation Department, All men of this war. A number of these liave already had some form o'f training at the Fairview and Evelyn Firth Homes at and all of them will be able to apply for admission to the new home being prepared at also near Auckland.
