WOMEN'S ORGANISATIONS MEET INSTITUTE AND W.D.F.U. A special meetirig of reprcsenta- ! tives of the Women's Institutes of the Eastern Bay of Plenty Federation and Women's Division of the farmers' was held in the Whakatane Borough Council Chambers last Thursday. The meeting was called to discuss the amalgamation of the two organisations. Mrs Haultain on behalf of the Division presented their constitution and Mrs Caverhill put forward the Women's Institute's both were fully discussed and commented on. At the conclusion of the meeting Mrs Haultain, on behalf of tlu» "W.D.F.U. f thanked the Women's Institute organisation for their invitation to attend the meeting.
