HILLY BILLIES v HAIRY FAIRIES SENIOR FINAL GAME Saturday's matches on the Rugby field at Wliakatane will take the form of the long awaited clash between the Hilly Billies (Stock Agents) and the Hairy, Fairies (Carriers) and the Senior final match between Paroa and Waimana. The first Hilly Billies v Hairy Fairies is timed to commence at 1.30 p.m. ' and spectators can be sure, of a rousing game. Both teams it is understood are the essence of fitness itself, and are eagerly awaiting the meeting. The match will be under the whistle of Mr J. Whitehead . The second match! is to start at 2.30 'p.m. Paroa and th«j two top teams in tne competition, are separated in points by only a very small andtthiss s the final will declare the winner of the competition for the 1945 season. Both sides are well versed in the art of Rugby and should put up a performance .worth watching. Mr A. Breward will referee.
rangitaiki union The only match to be played under the Rangitaiki Union on Saturday will be the Senior fixture for the Duff Gup final which will take place at T'c Teko at 2 p.m. fnbjp. contestants are. Te Teko versus Edgccumbe.
