REGENT PREVIEW

"LASSIE COME HOME"

"Lassie Come Home" is the Regent attraction for Saturday j Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday- Acclaimed by critics the world over, "Lassie Come Home" is the story of a Collie ( and her boy pal. The boy's parents were poor and had to sell Lassie, and Lassie was taken away to Scotland. But the golden brown Collie's devotion to its schoolboy playmate turned her head in the direction, of her bumble home in Yorkshire. The story of her long trek through rain and snow and danger makes this picture one of universal appeal. "BUFFALO BILL" Coming to the Regent next Saturday and Monday is the picture "Buffalo Bill." This is not an ordinary Western picture. It is a West-; ern classic, and recognised as such,. It deals essentially with, the rolling prairie and the adventurous out of door life lived by one of the foremost among those who pioneered the West. The story is generally that of the life of the famous scout and buffalo hunter and introduces some of his more daring and reckless deeds. Those who know anything of "Buffalo Bill's" (William Cody's) life w r ill rccegnise some of the scenes portrayed, particularly the ones which depict his fight to the death with Yellow Hand war chief of the Cheyennei . Other authentic characters such as Ned Buntline arc also introduced.

The historic interest attaching to this film makes it a picture of the calibre of "Jesse James," and "Western Union" and one which will please all audiences;.
