Eastern Group Supplies
Military and other supplies totalling in value about} £18500,000 have been sent overseas from New Zealand in response to the demands of the Eastern Group Supply Council. This council which was set up in 1941 ; aimed at maximum production of war supplies for forces serving in the East. Nearly 500,000 pairs of boots 2 700,000 tootli 6800 rat traps dairy cultivators wire' nails barbed wire. f wall board and insulators were included in the items sent overseas from this country, states
