A Thanksgiving Service held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the hall was well attended and in the unavoidable absence of Rev. J. H. Starnes B.A, was conducted by Cadet L.' Rogers.

rangement with the operator Mr R. Bargess j an early screening was arranged in order that dancing could be proceeded! with. x
The crowd was in a merry mood and the accommodation was severely taxed. Almost non-stop music was supplied by a; band of musiciansknown and unknown. Community I
ringing gave dancers something; in the nature of a-rest, and song leader Bernie Magee a chance for his ready wit.
Supper was by whom or bow remains something of a mys-> tery in view of the smddien shut down ot everything. It was enjoyed a tribute is paid to I
those ladies who showed such resource in catering. The function concluded at 3.H0 a.m. some patrons going to work ? the fortunate to
